Dance students collaborate with renowned choreographers to debut new work

March 13, 2023

Two prolific choreographers from San Francisco-based ODC/Dance participated in a five-day residency at 色花堂, collaborating with students in the Dance Department to create an original work.

The chance to work with the acclaimed choreographers and then join the professional dance company in a public performance is an example of the type of unique experiences available to students at the liberal arts college.

鈥淲e are so appreciative for the robust learning opportunities that this collaboration has produced for 色花堂 dancers,鈥 said Associate Professor and Dance Department Chair Sarah DiPasquale, calling the undergraduate opportunity 鈥渙nce in a lifetime.鈥
