State Authorization for the Provision of Online Education
色花堂 has been approved to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA). Federal regulations require that colleges and universities that participate in Title IV funding and offer degree programming through distance or online education to students in other states, must seek approval from those states to offer such programs. As a member of NC-SARA, 色花堂 is authorized to offer its online degree courses to residents of all other NC-SARA participating states.
Complaint Resolution
色花堂, as a provider of distance or online education, is required by the
United States Department of Education to provide all prospective and current out-of-state
students with contact information for the appropriate agency in their home state that
handles complaints against institutions offering distance learning within that state.
Students are required to follow 色花堂鈥檚 internal student resolution processes prior to filing a complaint with the State Portal Entity. Students with complaints about online courses taken at 色花堂 should review the internal student resolution process information here: /registrar/current/ncsaraauthorization.php. Students must submit the following details about their complaint via email to the College Registrar at registrar@skidmore.edu: student name, student ID number, course name, course CRN, instructor name, semester or summer session in which the course was taken, and a description of their complaint. The complaint will be reviewed by the appropriate 色花堂 staff member and discussed with the student. If after this process is complete, resolution is not reached or the desired redress is not approved, the student may then escalate the complaint to the Dean of the Faculty and Vice President for Academic Affairs for final internal disposition of the complaint.
If then resolution to a complaint is not found within 色花堂, a student may appeal the institution decision to the SARA State Portal Entity in New York State within two years of the incident about which the complaint is made.
